How to Juggle
Great! I knew you would be. Learning how to juggle is fun and the possibilities are endless once you do. There are also physical and mental health benefits! The first thing that I want to teach you is how to juggle the cascade pattern. This is the building block for all that you will learn. You can see an example of the pattern on the right... On the go? Click here to download your free instructions in pdf format!
And to the left is an example of what you're not going to do... at least right now. This is the shower pattern and it is actually an intermediate pattern. Most instructors will jump right into using balls or beanbags. I want to start you off using scarves. Why use scarves? Because I want you to understand how to juggle that cascade pattern I was talking about. It will be easier for you to learn how to juggle the cascade pattern because of how slowly the juggling scarves float to the ground. You will have more time to react and think about what you are doing unlike learning with balls. The best part about using scarves is that you will see results in a matter of minutes! Reacting quickly because you think the balls are going to drop to the ground is what causes people to improperly throw the shower pattern. Throwing a shower pattern seems to be a more natural inclination and it is also what you commonly see on cartoons - the two reasons why so many people tend try this pattern. So to recap... the point of these videos is not to make you a master scarf juggler! You should use them to gain an understanding of the cascade and then move on to the really fun stuff! Side note - starting with scarves is a suggestion but if you already understand the cascade pattern and would like to skip that step, go ahead and start with Juggling 3 balls. If you don't have scarves you can buy them here. Ready to dive in? Start by watching the first free videos below. If your internet connection is slowwww, you might want to check
